The ceremony will start at 4:30pm so please plan to arrive with enough time to be seated no later than then.

We're sorry to inform you that it is not a shotgun wedding 😂 We completely understand if you cannot make it especially with such short notice. There are people in our lives that we want to share this time with while we still can and before they move on to bigger things. Family is so important to us. We always get together for things that are less than happy so we couldn't wait to get together for a happier moment!

Absolutely! The ceremony and reception are at different locations about 10 minutes away from each other. Feel free to come to one or the other or both!

No! The bride and groom will be dressed up but please do not feel the need to dress up yourself. We're not planning anything super fancy. Just drinks, dancing and a buffet of food to share this moment with all the people we love.

Unfortunately, no. We do not have space for guests and will be busy prepping things for the reception. The bride will not be home the days leading up to the wedding so the groom doesn't see her dress!

Please do not bring alcohol to the church. There will be a limited open bar at the reception but if you absolutely would like to bring something, please feel free to. Just please keep glass indoors.

Please do not smoke on church grounds. There are designated smoking areas at the reception.

Not at all! Ames is a 15 minute drive away and there are more hotels there as well!

Please do not throw rice as it takes time to break down and is not nutritious for the birds. If you must throw something, please opt for birdseed instead.

Please let us know if you will be bringing a plus one (or kids etc.) by filling out the count on the RSVP card or when you RSVP on the site so we can make sure we have enough seating.

We want to be as safe and inclusive as possible. Please let us know by filling out the additional questions when you RSVP.

At the church, yes! Unfortunately, the reception is at a camp lodge and there will be little to no service. Enjoy talking to people and being in the moment!

Absolutely! There will be kids in the wedding! All of the dinnerware will be plastic so don't be afraid to let them run around, dance all night and tire themselves out!

Music and bar service will end at midnight but you are more than welcome to stay and hang out or chat after if you'd like!

We will be cleaning up at the camp lodge on Sunday after the wedding. If you'd like to stop by before heading out, please do but don't feel obligated to.
